Brush Painting!!

I'm so excited to finally of found time to paint my brush handles! i got this idea from elle fowler (allthatglitters21 on youtube) and since she made the video, i couldn't wait to try it. I made mine all different colors, and love the way they turned out.

SOME TIPS:

• Peel the tape off SLOWLY
• when you wrap the tape around the handle, make sure where you place the end of the tape, is UNDER where you began it. (this way you will only get smooth edges)
• wait for the nail polish to dry before applying a different color over it
• use clear nail polish over the edge of the color after peeling off the tape
• put your brushes on a folded washcloth with the ends hanging over the side to let them dry
• don't limit yourself to just brushes! do the tips of mascara caps, tweezers, or nailpolish caps
• HAVE FUN

BOSTON

so I've been college visiting the past couple of days. I visited UMass yesterday, BU today and North Eastern I'm visiting tomorrow. on a style/beauty note.... i got Nivea Creme at the bookshop when i was at UMass and i LOVE it. It's really good and I feel like it hydrates my hands as i put it on. Also, I've been paying close attention to some of the styles here in Boston, and I have to say that BU girls have an amazing sense of style. I might attempt to take some pictures to put on the blog, but It might also be kinda creepy.... we'll see. Anyway, TONIGHT I GET TO SEE MY BEST FRIEND FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE AUGUST!!! I'm so excited. I'm wearing my reptar shirt because I know she'll appreciate it :)

So, i recently purchased wet n wild's "idol eyes" creme shadow pencil in pixie. I already had one in a purple color (not sure of the name) and i didn't really like it very much. It doesn't go on smoothly, and is rather messy. However, i LOVE my new one. Maybe the old one was just a fluke? I got it when they first came out so they might have changed the formula. So, i would definitely recommend the pencil in pixie, because it is an AMAZING highlighter for inner corners of the eyes, brow bones, cheekbones, and the cupid's bow. I will probably make a video comparing the two pencils and their different uses soon, and a more in depth review. Here are some pictures/swatches!

GRAWR YOUTUBE

So youtube hasn't let me download any of my new, edited, pretty, videos in about a month...it also won't let me delete any vids in my subscription box. That's about 100 videos i can't delete, and clearly I don't have time to watch that many videos.

HENCE THE BLOG. I've decided that blogging will be my solution for those times i just CAN'T make a video, edit a video, or youtube has decided to hate me.

The last video i was able to upload is dated March 12th!!! That is such a long time ago i can't even stand it. I have so many new products I could review, but i also have a bunch of videos saved on my computer that I can't get on to youtube. :(

So hopefully this problem won't last long, but here are some videos you can (hopefully) look forward to:
