I'm so excited to finally of found time to paint my brush handles! i got this idea from elle fowler (allthatglitters21 on youtube) and since she made the video, i couldn't wait to try it. I made mine all different colors, and love the way they turned out.
SOME TIPS:
- Peel the tape off SLOWLY
- when you wrap the tape around the handle, make sure where you place the end of the tape, is UNDER where you began it. (this way you will only get smooth edges)
- wait for the nail polish to dry before applying a different color over it
- use clear nail polish over the edge of the color after peeling off the tape
- put your brushes on a folded washcloth with the ends hanging over the side to let them dry
- don't limit yourself to just brushes! do the tips of mascara caps, tweezers, or nailpolish caps
- HAVE FUN
